The goal of the National Association of Collectors (NAC) is to identify and address those needs and concerns that are common to all collectors. Some of these areas include: appraisals; security; insurance; conservation, preservation and restoration; displaying collections; collection management; dispersal and estate planning; development of research techniques and utilizing new technologies; networking and educational opportunities for collectors..

NAC provides individual collectors with a broad range of information and resources. We will stand behind you in representing your issues and addressing your needs.

NAC offers a collector insurance program and NAC members are offered reduced prices on a broad range of products and services provided by our Partners through the Collectors Trade Show. Most NAC information is conveyed through the official website of NAC - Collectors.Org - the place to get collecting information. Information features on Collectors.Org include a variety of calendars and directories, news and current issues affecting collectors in the Collectors News Service and the full line of services for NAC. There is also be an electronic newsletter for all NAC members.

Becoming an NAC Member

Individual Memberships

Any collector interested in joining NAC can do so by filling out the NAC Application Form and sending it with payment to: NAC, 18222 Flower Hill Way #299, Gaithersburg, MD 20879. Annual dues for NAC -- $5.00.

Group Memberships

Group NAC memberships are primarily for professional groups within the antiques & collectibles industry including state and national antique dealer associations, auctioneer associations, appraiser associations, antique mall staffs & dealers, Antique & collectible show promoter staffs & dealers, Internet mall staffs & dealers, and similar groups. Annual NAC dues for Group Memberships -- Up to 10 members, $25.00 total; 11 members to 150 members, $2.00 per member; Over 150 members, $1.50 per member. NAC Group Application Form.

ACC Memberships

The membership of any club or society joining the Association of Collecting Clubs (ACC) will automatically be members of NAC as well, having all the privileges of NAC individual membership. For more information on ACC click here.
