ACC Tackles Management and Finances of Collecting Clubs

GAITHERSBURG, MD--One of the major needs of many collecting clubs is in the area of club management and finances. Association of Collecting Clubs (ACC) spokesperson Rick Moses, says "granted, no two clubs are exactly the same, however there are many components of club operations that are indeed the same. How to avoid mistakes. How to be more financially creative. Determining if your club membership dues are in sync with the membership services you are providing. Having a plan of work tied to a budget. Year-end audits. These are only a few subjects in this area in which the Association of Collecting Clubs can assist member clubs."

Selected as a major program area for this year, ACC hopes that through dialog with the leadership of clubs relating to management and finances, as well as involving specialists in this area, that a program can be developed that can be of value to any club choosing to use it.
