This is the official Club Directory of the Association of Collecting
Clubs. The ACC works directly with the leadership of over 4,000 collecting
groups including a newsletter to the club leadership 1-2 times monthly. We
are serious about keeping our club information accurate.
If you are interested in learning about a particular club, or seeking
information on a particular collecting area, this directory has more
specific information on clubs than any other directory:
- Name and description of club
- Type of collecting area
- Type of collecting group, i.e. traditional club, website club,
company-sponsored club, online discussion group
- Number of members
- Contact information including name of person, postal, e-mail and
website address, phone number.
- Name and type of publication
- Affiliation if group is part of a larger group
- Programs and resources the club offers to both members and non-members,
i.e. trial memberships, hosts shows open to the public, speakers bureau,
young collectors program, information on reproductions and fakes, offers
members' appraisals, supports museums, has a membership directory, etc.
A truly global club directory, ACC actively works with hundreds of
collecting clubs on six continents, which are represented in this
directory. With the advantages of the Internet, collectors can easily
locate other collectors and collecting groups around the world.
All types of collecting groups are included in the ACC Collecting Club
Directory. While ACC screens each and every entry to determine their
legitimacy, today's collecting groups take many forms -- all the way from
the "traditional" club to website clubs, newsletter clubs and discussion
forums. The type of club is not nearly as important as the service they
render collectors and their commitment to accuracy, how current, and
overall objectives.

The Collecting Club Directory has been a major feature on
the Collectors.Org website for over a decade, even preceding the founding
of the Association of Collecting Clubs by several years. Originally, the
Club Directory was done in partnership with David Maloney of Maloney's
Antiques & Collectibles Resource Directory, appearing on both the
Collectors.org website and in the Maloney Directory. In January, 2007, ACC
assumed the total responsibility for the club directory with the support
and ongoing partnership of Mr. Maloney. ACC is committed to continuing to
offer the largest and best Collecting Club Directory on the Internet in
support of all collecting clubs, their leadership and their members. We
encourage our partners to join this support by featuring this Club
Directory on your own websites and promoting it in other ways. For more
information write: info@Collectors.Org or call 301.926.8663. Thank you.
