What is the ACC Private Label Directory

The Association of Collecting Clubs and the National Association of Collectors maintain an extensive registration database of thousands of collecting organizations around the world. Through our Private Label Directory program, you can add this valuable resource to your own site and promote your own brand at the same time

Why offer a club directory to your guests?

Offering to your guests access to the Directory puts them in touch with a knowledge base for hundreds of collecting areas. Collector club memberships comprise the largest group of serious collectors in the antiques and collectibles industry.

By offering the Directory, you are offering your guests and customers access to a very important resource. As your guests add to their collections, they want and need information about their collecting interests. By offering the Directory to them, they are able to find others around town and around the world with similar collecting interests. This can lead to an enriching experience as they share information about their collections and themselves with those having a common interest in collecting.

At the same time, you are helping collecting organizations promote and expand their membership, which can lead to increase sales for you.

Why use the ACC directory?

The Directory is the official collecting club directory of the Association of Collecting Clubs and the National Association of Collectors. It is the largest, most accurate directory on the Internet today. We are in contact with over 4,000 leaders of collecting clubs around the world through our ACC Update electronic newsletter published several times a month.

By using our directory service, you are relieved of the time, expense, and let's face it, the hassle of maintaining your own directory service. We do all of the work for you. We receive several dozen listing updates every week. We verify the changes and update the system.

Technical Requirements

The only real technical requirement is that you have the ability to add the required link to your site pages.

• worry about overloading your Internet connection.

How does it work?

Access to the Private Label Directory is through a non-exclusive licensing agreement. Once your site has been approved, and appropriate licensing fees paid, you are given access to a web page that allows you to customize the color scheme used to display the Directory . Once you have your custom color scheme defined, you simply add a link to your site anywhere that you want the Directory to be available to your guests.

What can I customize?

The Private Label Directory follows the same layout and styles as the Directory found on the Collectors.Org web site. You have the option to change the colors used for most display aspects to best match your regular site color scheme.

You can specify the name or your company, your home web site URL and a logo image that appears at the top of each page displayed. The logo image is clickable back to your site. NOTE: If you intend to display the Directory using frames, don't specify a logo image.

How much does it cost?

Licensing is for a one (1) year period at a cost of $300.00 per year. That's only $25.00 per month… less than $1.00 per day to provide your guests with this valuable resource.

The cost is reasonable, but...

We also have a 'no cost' option for using the Directory . While you won't have the customization capabilities that the Private Label Directory offers, you can still provide your guests with access to the Directory . Simply place a link on your site to http://CollectingClubs.com wherever you want to offer the Directory to your guests. All we ask is that you let us know you are placing the link on your site. On-Page Advertising

Because we want to provide your guests with the cleanest experience possible, we do not allow ads of any type on the Directory pages. This includes both banners and text ads.

So, what's in it for ACC?

One of the objectives of the Association of Collecting Clubs is to help promote collecting groups and recruit members. The more visibility that we can get for the Directory, the more we are able to achieve this objective.

Do you have an Affiliate or Partner program?

By all means, YES! For every new license to the Directory that results in a referral from your Private Label Directory, you will receive 10% of the license fee.
