Promoting Your Annual Convention

We are entering the season for many of the collecting clubs' & societies' annual conventions. The spring and summer months seem to be popular times for collectors and their families to gather for these much anticipated events. Even if your event is a "members only" convention, it offers opportunities for recruiting new members into your group. Let us help you.

We have pulled the club conventions section out of the Events Calendar on the Collectors.Org website and are now featuring Club Conventions on its own page on the site: Club Convention Directory. Be sure to e-mail us your convention information at: info@collectors.org or alert your convention chairperson to do so. To be included, we need the location of your convention: city-state-hotel/facility, name of your club, dates of convention, and contact information...phone, e-mail, website. Remember, if your event is for members only, you may wish to provide contact information for the convention AND additional contact information for membership queries.

Also, if you have a release prepared for your convention...or information for a release, we would be happy to help promote your convention both through the free Collecting Clubs eNews electronic newsletter going to several thousand readers and in the Collecting Clubs News Service, a free news service which reaches several hundred publications and other news outlets in the antiques & collectibles industry.
